Nellie Hagström · Founder & Creative Director

Sundae Mood was founded by Nellie Hagström, a multidisciplinary designer and creative director with a background spanning branding, digital design and visual communication.

Nellie leads every project hands-on, from the thinking and creative direction through to design and execution, bringing a holistic perspective to how brands look, feel and show up in the world.

Her work spans brand identities, packaging, digital experiences, campaigns and content for brands across beauty, wellness, lifestyle and culture.

Boutique by design, Sundae stays intentionally close to the work, bringing in trusted collaborators when a project calls for it.

What we’re into

  • BRANDS WITH A POINT OF VIEW

Pretty isn’t enough. We’re into brands with something to say, a reason to exist and a visual world that couldn’t belong to anyone else. Distinct over universally liked, always.

  • THE WHOLE PICTURE

A logo is only the beginning. We think about how a brand lives everywhere, from the packaging someone picks up to the campaign they save, the website they scroll and the post that lands on their feed.

  • GOOD IDEAS > GOOD TRENDS

We love knowing what’s happening, but we’re not here to copy and paste it. Trends can inspire the conversation. They shouldn’t become the entire personality.

  • CREATIVE CHEMISTRY

The best work happens when it feels collaborative. We bring the creative direction, experience and slightly obsessive attention to detail. You bring the knowledge, ambition and instinct behind your brand. Somewhere in the middle, the good stuff happens.

  • DETAILS THAT DO THE MOST

The typeface. The crop. The tiny line of copy. The exact shade that was almost right three rounds ago. We care about the details because they’re usually what turn something good into something unmistakably yours.
